Goddess Art Woman's Face in Sphere titled - Retreat to your Sacred Space - Gourd and Clay OOAK Goddess Art by Jeanne Fry

This is an OOAK (Original One of a Kind) piece of Goddess Art, revealing a Woman's Face peaking out from a sphere, that is titled "Retreat to your Sacred Space" by Jeanne Fry. It is a mixed media blend of Gourd, Clay, and Handmade Paper, that creates a warm and colorful piece of Sacred Art that would be beautiful in a Meditation Space, a Healing Space, on your Desk, in your Writing Nook, or frankly anywhere that you would like to add the feel of Goddess Presence.

Inspiration of "Retreat to your Sacred Space" :

Your spirit is valuable, and you should treat it as a cherished treasure. Taking quality time to care for yourself is essential, just as important as drinking good clean water and eating fresh foods.  . Often we can't go jetting off on mini vacations or trips to the spa when we need to refresh our spirit, but we CAN take a Retreat to our Sacred Space.

I encourage everyone to have a Sacred Space - a space that is just your own - that is specifically set up as a place of healing energy for you. The components would be different for everyone, but the end result should be that after you have spent time in the space, you feel more Clarity, more Peace in your Heart, a release from Stresses, Renewed, and Spiritually Connected.

Maybe you spend time in your Sacred Space doing introspective journaling. Or maybe you spend time listening to audio books, or poetry readings. Maybe you listen to soulful violin music that helps you release emotions. Perhaps you listen to wind chimes blow around as you meditate on a large comfy pillow. You might partake in Tea Ceremony or take your beautifully put together healthy lunch and eat it slowly and purposely while thinking on Gratefulness.

You also have a Sacred Space inside yourself. And there are times when we all take a small retreat there to Think...and Listen.

This Goddess Art is a Gourd and Clay Sculpture with mixed media handmade paper additions in the finishing. The woman's face, completely clay, is sculpted into a blend of clay layers on a gourd sphere. The piece itself is approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter. It was the clay layers were later covered with textured handmade papers, and a butterfly diecut, and then painted with Acrylics. Her serene face was painted with acrylics to give her soft grey blue hue, with dusty rose lips. A small round paper mache base was made for her and painted in the same colors. It stands approximately 1 3/4 inches in height, making the total piece just about 8 inches in total.

It is signed and dated on the bottom and sealed with a matte finish.

She is a part of my Wisdom Keeper Art Doll collection, created for adult collectors and not as children's toys or decor.
